Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abides in the vine, no more can ye, except ye abide in me.

He that says he abides in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.

I am crucified with Christ; nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ lives in me, and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

He that eats my flesh and drinks my blood abides in me, and I in him.

At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.

if ye continue in the faith grounded and settled and are not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard and which is preached to every creature which is under heaven, of which I Paul am made a minister,

Whosoever rebels and does not abide in the doctrine of the Christ, does not have God. He that abides in the doctrine of the Christ, the same has the Father and the Son.

Who is she that comes up from the wilderness, leaning upon her beloved? I woke thee up under the apple tree; there thy mother had birth pains; there she had pains that brought thee into the light.

Otherwise the defenced city shall be made desolate, and the habitation shall be forsaken and left like a wilderness: there shall the calf feed, and there shall he lie down and consume the branches thereof.

Son of man, What is the vine tree more than any tree? What is the branch among the trees of the forest?

Ephraim shall then say, What have I to do any more with idols? I will hear him and gaze upon him; I will be unto him like a green fir tree; of me shall thy fruit be found.

But that on the good ground are those who in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it and bring forth fruit with patience.

For this thing I besought the Lord three times that it might be taken from me.

Examine yourselves whether ye are in the faith; prove your own selves. Do ye not know your own selves if Jesus Christ is in you? Unless ye are reprobates.

that the Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith, that ye, being rooted and grounded in charity,

to whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery in the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory,

Therefore in the manner in which ye received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him,

For this cause I, also, not waiting any longer, have sent to know your faith, lest by some means the tempter has tempted you and our labour is in vain.

But we are not of those who draw back unto perdition, but faithful unto the saving of the soul.

Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. For if that which ye have heard from the beginning shall abide in you, ye also shall continue to abide in the Son and in the Father.

But ye, beloved, building up yourselves upon your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit,
