You will ask me for nothing then. Truly I say to you, if you ask anything of the Father, he will give it to you in my name.

Jesus perceived what they wanted to ask him. He said to them: You inquire among yourselves concerning what I said. A little while, and you will not see me, and again a little while, and you will see me?

Ask and it will be given you. Seek and you will find. Knock and it will be opened for you.

Before they call I will answer! While they are still speaking I will hear.

You will receive the things you ask for in prayer when you have faith.

Simon Peter said: Lord where are you going? Jesus answered: Where I am going you cannot follow me now. You will follow me later.

Thomas said to him: Lord, we do not know where you go. How do we know the way?

Whatever you ask in my name, I will do. That way the Father may be glorified because of the Son.

In that day you will know that I am with my Father, and you with me, and I with you.

In that day you will ask in my name. I do not say to you, that I will pray to the Father for you. It will not be necessary.

He is able to save completely those who approach God through him, because he is always alive to intercede for them.

Having therefore, brothers, boldness to enter into the Holy Place by the blood of Jesus,

My little children, I write you these things that you may not sin. If any man sin, we have an Advocate (intercessor) (comforter) (helper) with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous!

This is the confidence that we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.
