John 19:21

Then said the chief priests of the Jews to Pilate, Write not, King of the Jews; but that he said, I am King of the Jews.

And it was the preparation of the pascha, and about the sixth hour: and he says to the Jews, Behold your King!

And Pilate also wrote a title, and put upon the cross. And it was written, JESUS THE NAZARITE, KING OF THE JEWS.

And there was also an inscription written upon him, in letters Greek, Roman, and Hebrew; THIS IS KING OF THE JEWS.
