John 19:39

And there came also Nicodemus, he who at the first came to Him by night, bringing a mixture of myrrh and aloes, about a hundred pounds.

A bruised reed will He not break, and a smoking flax will He not quench, till He send forth judgment unto victory;

But many that are first shall be last, and last first."

And, the sabbath having past, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, bought spices, that, coming, they might anoint Him.

Now there was a man of the Pharisees, whose name was Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews.

Nicodemus says to them (he who came to Him before, being one of them),

Jesus, therefore, said, "Suffer her to keep it for the day of My burial;
