that every one believing in Him may have eternal life.

But so many as received Him, to them gave He the right to become the children of God, to those believing on His name:

Truly, truly, I say unto you, that every one hearing my word, and believing on Him that sent me hath eternal life, and doth not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life.

Truly, truly, I say unto you, the one believing has eternal life.

and I give to them eternal life; and they shall never perish, and no one shall pluck them out of my hand.

For the righteousness of God is revealed in him from faith to faith: as has been written, But the just shall live by faith.

There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus.

We know that we have passed out of the death into the life, because we love the brethren with divine love; the one loving not with divine love, abides in the death.

The one believing on the Son of God has the witness in himself: the one not believing God has made him a liar; because he has not believed in the testimony which God has testified concerning his Son.
