John 5:29

Treasury of Scripture Knowledge

And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.

Many of those who sleep in the dust
of the earth will awake,
some to eternal life,
and some to shame and eternal contempt.

“When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the angels

with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory.

And I have a hope in God, which these men themselves also accept, that there is going to be a resurrection,

both of the righteous and the unrighteous.

And you will be blessed, because they cannot repay you; for you will be repaid at the resurrection of the righteous.”

He will repay each one according to his works:

because the one who sows to his flesh will reap corruption from the flesh, but the one who sows to the Spirit will reap eternal life from the Spirit.

Instruct them to do what is good, to be rich in good works, to be generous, willing to share,

Don’t neglect to do what is good and to share, for God is pleased with such sacrifices.

and he must turn away

from evil

and do what is good.
He must seek peace

and pursue it,

For God will bring every act to judgment, including every hidden thing, whether good or evil.

Why is it considered incredible by any of you that God raises the dead?
