Further Testimony About The Son

³⁵ He was a lamp that was burning and shining; and ye were willing for a season to rejoice in his light. ³⁶  But I have a testimony greater than that of John; for the works which the Father hath given Me to accomplish, the very works that I am doing testify concerning Me, that the Father hath sent Me. ³⁷ And the Father Who sent Me, He hath testified concerning Me. Ye have neither at any time heard His voice, nor seen His form.

And this is the testimony, that God gave to us eternal life, and this life is in His Son.
