³⁸ And ye have not his word abiding in you; because ye believe not Him, whom He hath sent. ³⁹  Ye search the scriptures; for ye think that in them ye have eternal life: ⁴⁰ and they testify of me: and yet ye will not come to me, that ye may have life.
