But I have told you that, although you have seen me, yet you do not believe in me.

but I am sure that you do not have the love of God in your hearts.

He continued, "You are from below; I am from above. You belong to this present world; I do not belong to this present world.

but still you do not believe in me, for you do not belong to my sheep.

Jesus said to him, "Anyone who has taken a bath has no need of washing anything but his feet, but he is clean all over. And you are now clean, though not all of you are."

For those on whom He set His heart beforehand He marked off as His own to be made like His Son, that He might be the eldest of many brothers;

But God's foundation stands unshaken, with these inscriptions: "The Lord knows the people who belong to Him" and "Everyone who bears the name of the Lord must abstain from evil."

No creature of His can escape God's sight, but everything is bare and exposed to the eyes of Him to whom we have to give account.
