Jesus Predicts His Death

²⁸ Jesus therefore said to them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then ye will know that I am he, and I do nothing from myself, but I speak these things as my Father taught me. ²⁹ And he who sent me is with me. The Father has not left me alone, because I always do things pleasing to him. ³⁰ As he spoke these things of him, many believed in him.

John 4:34
