Jesus Predicts His Death

²⁸ Then said Jesus to them, When ye lift up the Son of man then shall ye know that I am, and I do nothing of myself; but as my Father taught me, these I speak. ²⁹ And he having sent me is with me: the Father has not left me alone; for I do always things pleasing to him. ³⁰ He speaking these, many believed in him.
