so that everyone may honor the Son as they honor the Father. Whoever does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent him.

The person who hates me also hates my Father.

"A son honors his father and a servant his master. So if I'm a father, where is my honor? And if I'm a master, where is my respect?" says the LORD of the Heavenly Armies to you priests who are despising my name. "But you ask, "How have we despised your name?'

You believe, don't you, that I am in the Father and the Father is in me? The words that I say to you I don't speak on my own. It is the Father who dwells in me and who carries out his work.

But when the appropriate time had come, God sent his Son, born by a woman, born under the Law,

This is how God's love was revealed among us: God sent his unique Son into the world so that we might live through him.
