Then went Haman forth the same day joyful and merry in his mind. And when he saw Mordecai in the king's gate, that he stood not up and kneeled before him, he was full of indignation at Mordecai.

And Hezekiah was glad thereof, and showed them the commodities of his treasure, of silver, of gold, of spices and roots, of precious oils, and all that was in his cupboards and treasure houses. There was not one thing in Hezekiah's house, and so throughout all his kingdom, but he let them see it.

Yea, even ye that rejoice in vain things: ye that say, 'Have not we obtained horns in our own strength?'

Why wilt thou set thine eye upon the thing, which suddenly vanisheth away? For riches make themselves wings, and take their flight like an Eagle into the air.
