Cities Of Merari's Descendants

³⁸ and out of the tribe of Gad, the city of refuge for the slayer, Ramoth in Gilead and its suburbs; and Mahanaim and its suburbs, ³⁹ Heshbon and its suburbs, Jaazer and its suburbs: four cities in all. ⁴⁰ These were all the cities of the children of Merari according to their families, which remained of the families of the Levites, and their lot was twelve cities.
