Joshua's Farewell Address

⁹ For the LORD has driven out from before you great and strong Gentiles; and until now no one has been able to stand before your face. ¹⁰ One of your men puts to flight a thousand, for the Lord your God is He who fights for you, just as He promised you. ¹¹ Therefore take heed for your souls that ye love the LORD your God.

Deuteronomy 3:22

Ye shall not fear them, for the LORD your God, he shall fight for you.

How could one chase a thousand and two put ten thousands to flight if their strong One had not sold them, and the LORD had not delivered them up?
