And ye

And it happened, when the people moved from their tents to pass over Jordan, and as the priests carried the ark of the covenant before the people,

For the priests who bore the ark stood in the middle of the Jordan until everything was finished, all that Jehovah commanded Joshua to speak to the people, according to all that Moses commanded Joshua. And the people hurried and passed over.

The sea saw it and fled; Jordan was driven back.

And the sons went in and possessed the land, and You humbled the people of the land before them, the Canaanites, and gave them into their hands, with their kings and the people of the land, so that they might do with them as they would.

And He brought them within His own holy border, this mountain, which His right hand had bought.

And when He had destroyed seven nations in the land of Canaan, he gave their land to them as an inheritance.
