Judges 3:2

He did this to teach warfare to the generations of the children of Israel who had not had previous battle experience.

But you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. When you eat of it you will surely die.

God knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened. Then you will be like God, knowing good and evil.

Then the eyes of both of them were opened. They realized they were naked. They sewed fig leaves together and made coverings for themselves.

However, they will become his servants. They must learn the difference between serving me and serving foreign kings.

Do not think I came to bring peace on the earth. I came not to bring peace, but a sword.

I spoke to you that in me you might have peace. In the world you have tribulation. Be of good cheer for I have conquered the world!

I do not run without definite aim (purpose) and I do not fight like a man beating the air.

Put on the full armor (every implement) of God, that you may be able to stand against the cunning (inventive) (clever) methods of the devil.

Fight the good fight of the faith! Lay hold on everlasting life! You were called and confessed the good confession in the sight of many witnesses.

You must endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.

I have fought the good fight! I have finished the course! I have kept the faith!
