I am Jehovah your God, who brought you out of slavery in Egypt.

Fear not

They worshipped Jehovah, but they gave honor to their gods like the nations did from whom they had been taken as prisoners.

This is what Jehovah says: Do not learn the practices of the nations. Do not be frightened by the signs in the sky because they frighten the nations.

Ye have

You will make no covenant with people of this land. You will throw down their altars. You have not obeyed my voice. Why have you done this?

I did not obey the voice of my teachers. I did not listen to my instructors!

She did not obey the voice of Jehovah. She would not accept correction (discipline). She did not trust Jehovah and draw close to her God.

But they have not all obeyed the good news. For Isaiah says: Jehovah, who has believed our message? (Isaiah 53:1)

Being made perfect, he became the source (cause) (channel) (conduit) (pathway) (facilitator) of eternal salvation to all who obey him. (Psalm 3:8)
