²² We have not come to destruction because of Jehovah's loving kindness. His mercies are without end. ²³ They are new every morning;

Zephaniah 3:5

Jehovah is righteous within her. He will do no wrong. He brings justice to the dawn of the morning. He does not fail! Yet the unjust know no shame.

Hebrews 10:23

Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering, for he is faithful that promised.

God did this to offer encouragement so we may rely on the hope offered to us. We have taken refuge in that hope and it is impossible for God to lie. These two things can never be changed.
