Leviticus 1:3

“If his gift is a burnt offering from the herd, he is to bring an unblemished male. He must bring it to the entrance to the tent of meeting so that he may be accepted by the Lord.

Exodus 12:5

You must have an unblemished animal, a year-old male; you may take it from either the sheep or the goats.

Deuteronomy 15:21

But if there is a defect in the animal, if it is lame or blind or has any serious defect, you must not sacrifice it to the Lord your God.
