Leviticus 14:42

For it is written in the book of Psalms, Let his dwelling be desolate and let no one dwell in it, and his superintendency let another take.

Let not a widow be enrolled under sixty years of age, a wife of one husband,

I charge you before God, and Jesus Christ, and the elect angels, that you keep these things without prejudice, doing nothing from partiality.

and what you heard from me through many witnesses, these things commit to faithful men, who shall be competent to teach others also.

For this cause I left you in Crete, that you might regulate things which are deficient, and appoint elders in every city, as I charged you,
