AND the Pharisees and some of the scribes having come from Jerusalem came together to him,

Then the Jews said to him, Forty-six years was this temple being built, and will you raise it in three days?

Jesus said to her, What have you to do with me, woman? My hour has not yet come.

And his disciples asked him, What does this parable mean?

O FOOLISH Galatians, who has fascinated you, before whose eyes Jesus Christ has been set forth among you crucified?

And the synagogue ruler answered, being angry because Jesus had performed a cure on the sabbath, and said to the multitude, There are six days in which you ought to work; in them, therefore, come and be cured, and not on the sabbath.

And on the next day he went to a city called Nain, and a considerable number of his disciples and a great multitude went with him.

But we know that whatever the law says, it says to those having the law, that every mouth may be stopped and all the world become guilty before God.

AND after six days Jesus took Peter, and James, and John, and brought them up on a high mountain by themselves alone, and was transfigured before them;

We ought therefore to attend the more to the things which we heard, lest at any time we should glide away [from them].

What defense then have we? None at all; for we before asserted that both Jews and Greeks are all under sin,

Many of the Jews therefore read this inscription, because the place where Jesus was crucified was nigh the city; and it was written in Hebrew, Latin, and Greek.

And as he sat on the Mount of Olives the disciples came to him privately, saying, Tell us when these things shall be; and what shall be the sign of your coming, and of the consummation of the world?

For I also am a man under authority, having soldiers under me; and I say to this man, Go, and he goes; and to another, Come, and he comes; and to my servant, Do this, and he does it.

For the earnest expectation of the creation waits for the revelation of the sons of God.

for he is a hired servant and cares not for the sheep.

And the angel said to them, Fear not; for, behold, I bring you good news of a great joy, which shall be for all people.

For I know that after my departure grievous wolves will come among you, not sparing the flock,

And behold you shall be with child, and bear a son, and shall call his name Jesus.

Jesus said to her, Believe me, woman, the hour comes, when neither in this mountain, nor in Jerusalem, you shall worship the Father.

And as they eat he took the bread, and having blessed, broke and, gave to them, and said, Take, this is my body.

After this he went down to Capernaum, he and his mother, and his brothers, and his disciples, and remained there a few days.

AND Mary arose in those days and went in haste to the mountainous country, to the city of Juda.

Then the Lord, after speaking with them, was taken up to heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.

And laying hold of him they brought him to the Areopagus, saying, May we know what this new teaching is which is taught by you?

And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and be carried away captive to all nations, and Jerusalem shall be trodden down by gentiles, till the times of gentiles are fully accomplished.

And there stood by the cross of Jesus, his mother, and the sister of his mother, Mary the wife of Cleopas, and Mary the Magdalene.

And while Paul waited for them at Athens, his spirit was moved within him as he saw the city wholly devoted to idolatry.

And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven; and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn; and they shall see the Son of man coming on the clouds of heaven, with power and great glory.

AND having said these things he went forward going up to Jerusalem.

And some fell on a rocky place, where it had not much earth, and it came up immediately, because it had no depth of earth;

And he gave his attention to them, expecting to receive something from them.

for a man that is without these is blind, not seeing to a distance, and has forgotten the purification from his former errors.

And Herod the king hearing this was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him;
