They shall not make bald patches on their heads, nor shave off the edges of their beards, nor make any cuts on their body.

"You are the sons of the LORD your God. You shall not cut yourselves or make any baldness on your foreheads for the dead.

And they cried aloud and cut themselves after their custom with swords and lances, until the blood gushed out upon them.

Both great and small shall die in this land. They shall not be buried, and no one shall lament for them or cut himself or make himself bald for them.

"For every head is shaved and every beard cut off. On all the hands are gashes, and around the waist is sackcloth.

Night and day among the tombs and on the mountains he was always crying out and cutting himself with stones.

Also it causes all, both small and great, both rich and poor, both free and slave,to be marked on the right hand or the forehead,

And another angel, a third, followed them, saying with a loud voice, "If anyone worships the beast and its image and receives a mark on his forehead or on his hand,

And I saw what appeared to be a sea of glass mingled with fire--and also those who had conquered the beast and its image and the number of its name, standing beside the sea of glass with harps of God in their hands.

So the first angel went and poured out his bowl on the earth, and harmful and painful sores came upon the people who bore the mark of the beast and worshiped its image.

And the beast was captured, and with it the false prophet who in its presence had done the signs by which he deceived those who had received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped its image. These two were thrown alive into the lake of fire that burns with sulfur.

Then I saw thrones, and seated on them were those to whom the authority to judge was committed. Also I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for the testimony of Jesus and for the word of God, and those who had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.
