Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When you are come into the land which I give unto you, and shall reap the harvest thereof, then you shall bring a sheaf of the first fruits of your harvest unto the priest:

As for the offering of the first fruits, you shall offer them unto the LORD: but they shall not be burned on the altar for a sweet aroma.

Honor the LORD with your substance, and with the firstfruits of all your increase:

And the first of all the firstfruits of all things, and every offering of all, of every sort of your offerings, shall be the priest's: you shall also give unto the priest the first of your dough, that he may cause the blessing to rest in your house.

For if the firstfruit are holy, the lump is also holy: and if the root is holy, so are the branches.

But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.

Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.

These are they who were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they who follow the Lamb wherever he goes. These were redeemed from among men, being the first fruits unto God and to the Lamb.
