Leviticus 24:12

And they put him in ward, that it might be declared to them at the mouth of LORD.

And Moses said to his father-in-law, Because the people come to me to inquire of God.

And they put him in ward, because it had not been declared what should be done to him.

And Moses brought their case before LORD.

And Moses commanded the sons of Israel according to the word of LORD, saying, The tribe of the sons of Joseph speak right.

If thou shall do this thing, and God command thee so, then thou shall be able to endure, and all this people also shall go to their place in peace.
