Leviticus 24:12

And they put him under guard, so that the mind of Jehovah might be declared to them.

And Moses said to his father-in-law, Because the people come to me to inquire of God.

And they put him under guard because it had not been clearly said what should be done to him.

And Moses brought their cause before Jehovah.

And Moses commanded the sons of Israel according to the word of Jehovah saying, The tribe of the sons of Joseph has said well.

If you will do this thing, and God command you, then you shall be able to endure, and all this people shall also go to their place in peace.
