Leviticus 24:19

And when a man {causes} a physical defect in his fellow citizen {according to} what he has done, so it shall be done to him:

{You must show no pity}: life for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot."

"You have heard that it was said, 'An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.'

For by what judgment you judge, you will be judged, and by what measure you measure out, it will be measured out to you.
