As long as it lies desolate, it will have rest, the rest it did not have on your Sabbaths, while you were living on it.

The earth also is polluted by its inhabitants, because they have transgressed laws, violated statutes, and broken the everlasting covenant.

For we know that the whole creation has been moaning together as in the pains of childbirth until now.
