The tenth part

When they measured it by quarts, the person who gathered a lot had no surplus, and the person who gathered a little had no shortage. Each gathered as much as he needed to eat.

Fine flour

“When anyone presents a grain offering as a gift to the Lord, his gift must consist of fine flour.

He is to pour olive oil on it, put frankincense on it,

His offering was one silver dish weighing 3¼ pounds and one silver basin weighing 1¾ pounds, measured by the standard sanctuary shekel, both of them full of fine flour mixed with oil for a grain offering;

the one presenting his offering to the Lord must also present a grain offering of two quarts of fine flour mixed with a quart of oil.

“When anyone presents a grain offering as a gift to the Lord, his gift must consist of fine flour.

He is to pour olive oil on it, put frankincense on it,

then the man is to bring his wife to the priest. He is also to bring an offering for her of two quarts of barley flour. He is not to pour oil over it or put frankincense on it because it is a grain offering of jealousy, a grain offering for remembrance that brings sin to mind.

For it is

He must bring his restitution for the sin he has committed to the Lord: a female lamb or goat from the flock as a sin offering. In this way the priest will make atonement on his behalf for his sin.

He made the One who did not know sin to be sin for us, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.
