in piety and righteousness before him all our days.

and your having put on the new man, which according to God is created in truthful righteousness and holiness.

that thou mayest fear Jehovah thy God, to keep all his statutes and his commandments which I command thee, thou, and thy son, and thy son's son, all the days of thy life; and that thy days may be prolonged.

And he gave them the lands of the nations, and they took possession of the labour of the peoples:

For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel, after those days, saith Jehovah: I will put my law in their inward parts, and will write it in their heart; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

And I will give them one heart, and one way, that they may fear me all their days, for the good of them, and of their children after them.

And I will take you from among the nations, and gather you out of all the countries, and will bring you into your own land.

And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus, for he shall save his people from their sins.

according as he has chosen us in him before the world's foundation, that we should be holy and blameless before him in love;

For we are his workmanship, having been created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God has before prepared that we should walk in them.

For the rest, then, brethren, we beg you and exhort you in the Lord Jesus, even as ye have received from us how ye ought to walk and please God, even as ye also do walk, that ye would abound still more.

For God has not called us to uncleanness, but in sanctification.

But we ought to give thanks to God always for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, that God has chosen you from the beginning to salvation in sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:

who has saved us, and has called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given to us in Christ Jesus before the ages of time,

For the grace of God which carries with it salvation for all men has appeared,

as children of obedience, not conformed to your former lusts in your ignorance;

through which he has given to us the greatest and precious promises, that through these ye may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
