Luke 10:25

And, behold, a certain lawyer stood up and tempted Him, saying, Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?

And a certain ruler asked Him, saying, Good Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?

But the Pharisees and lawyers rejected the counsel of God against themselves, not being baptized by him.

And behold, one came and said to Him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do that I may have eternal life?

But hearing that He had silenced the Sadducees, the Pharisees were gathered together.

And one of the lawyers answered and said to Him, Master, you reproach us also when you say this.

And leading them outside, he said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved?

For if the inheritance is of Law, it is no more of promise; but God gave it to Abraham by way of promise.
