Luke 10:26
"What is said in the Law?" answered Jesus. "What do you read there?"
Romans 3:19
Now we know that everything said in the Law is addressed to those who are under its authority, in order that every mouth may be closed, and the whole world become liable to the judgment of God.
Romans 4:14-16
If those who take their stand on Law are to inherit the world, then faith is robbed of its meaning and the promise comes to nothing!
Romans 10:5
For Moses writes that, as for the righteousness which results from Law, 'those who practice it will find Life through it.'
Galatians 3:12-13
But the Law is not based on faith; no, its words are--'Those who practice these precepts will find Life through them.'
Galatians 3:21-22
Does that set the Law in opposition to God's promises? Heaven forbid! For, if a Law had been given capable of bestowing Life, then righteousness would have actually owed its existence to Law.
