Produce fruit that is worthy of repentance. Do not say we have Abraham for our father. I tell you, that God is able to make these stones into children for Abraham.

He called out: Father Abraham! Take pity on me! Please send Lazarus to dip his finger in some water and cool off my tongue. I am in torment in this fire!

Jesus said to him: Salvation has come to this house today. He is also a son of Abraham.

You are from your father [Satan] the Devil (slanderer) (false accuser)! You want to do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning. He does not stand for the truth. There is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks his own lies. He is a liar and the father of the lie!

They should come to their senses out of the snare of the Devil. He has taken them captive and they do his will.

Jesus called to her: Woman you are free from your sickness!

The Sabbath was made for man, said Jesus, and not man for the Sabbath.
