The Parable Of The Lost Son

²⁷ He said to him, 'Your brother has come, and your father has killed the calf he has been fattening, because he has gotten him back alive and well.' ²⁸  But he was angry and would not go into the house. And his father came out and urged him. ²⁹ And he said to his father, 'Here I have served you all these years, and have never disobeyed an order of yours, and you have never given me a kid, so that I could entertain my friends.
