16 It was the law and the prophets until John, but ever since that time the good news of the kingdom of God has been proclaimed, and everybody has been taking it by storm. 17 It is easier for heaven and earth to pass away than for one dotting of an 'i' in the law to fail. 18 Any man who divorces his wife to marry another woman commits adultery, and the man who marries the woman divorced from her husband commits adultery.
