Luke 2:28

Simeon himself took the child in his arms, and blessed God, and said:

And immediately Zechariah recovered his voice and the use of his tongue, and began to bless God.

Then Jesus took a little child, and placed it in the middle of them. Folding it in his arms, he said to them:

Then he folded the children in his arms, and, placing his hands on them, gave them his blessing.

And Mary said: "My soul exalts the Lord,

"Blessed is the Lord, the God of Israel, Who has visited his people and wrought their deliverance,

Then suddenly there appeared with the angel a multitude of the heavenly Host, praising God, and singing--

And the shepherds went back, giving glory and praise to God for all that they had heard and seen, as it had been told them.
