Then they began to discuss among themselves which one of them was going to do this.

Feeling deeply distressed, each one began to ask him, "Surely I am not the one, Lord?"

They began to be very sad and asked him, one after the other, "Surely I am not the one, am I?"

The disciples began looking at one another, completely mystified about whom he was speaking.
