And he said unto them, When I sent you without purse, and scrip, and shoes, lacked ye any thing? And they said, Nothing.

and He said to them, "Take nothing for the journey??either staff, nor wallet, nor bread, nor money; and not to have two coats.

Carry no purse, nor wallet, nor sandals; and salute no one by the way.

Procure neither gold, nor silver, nor brass, for your girdles;

and He charged them that they should take nothing for the way, except a staff only; no bread, no wallet, no money in their girdle;

And seek ye not what ye shall eat, and what ye shall drink; nor be troubled with anxiety;

Be not, therefore, anxious, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink!' or 'What shall we put on?'

as it has been written, "He that gathered much had nothing over; and he that gathered little had no lack."
