And one of them smote the servant of the high priest, and cut off his right ear.

And behold, one of those who were with Jesus stretching out his hand, drew his sword, and striking at a servant of the high-priest, cut off his ear.

And one particular person of those who stood by drew his sword, and struck a servant of the high priest, and cut off his ear.

Then Simon Peter having a sword, drew it, and struck a servant of the high-priest, and cut off his right ear. Now the servant's name was Malchas.

Avenge not yourselves, beloved, but give place unto wrath: for it is written, "Vengeance belongeth to me; I will recompence, saith the Lord."
