And a leper came up to him and fell on his knees before him, saying, "If you only choose, sir, you can cure me!"

There came to him a leper appealing to him on his knees, saying to him, "If you only choose, you can cure me."

And as he was going into one village he met ten lepers, and they stood at some distance from him,

When Jesus got back to Bethany, to the house of Simon the leper,

and fell on his face at Jesus' feet, and thanked him. He was a Samaritan.

Besought

and raising their voices, said, "Jesus, Master, take pity on us!"

and appealed to him, saying, "My little daughter is at the point of death. Come, lay your hands on her, so that she may get well and live!"

But the captain answered, "I am not a suitable person, sir, to have you come under my roof, but simply say the word, and my servant will be cured.

When he had gone indoors, the blind men came up to him, and he said to them, "Do you believe that I can do this?" They said to him, "Yes, sir."

"From his childhood, and many a time it has thrown him into the fire or into the water, to put an end to him. But if there is anything you can do, take pity on us and help us!"

Therefore, he is able to save forever all who come to God through him, because he lives and intercedes for them forever.
