And they were filled with madness; and communed one with another what they might do to Jesus.

But the Pharisees went out and

conspired against Him, as to how they might destroy Him.

When the chief priests and the Pharisees heard His parables, they understood that He was speaking about them.

After these things Jesus was walking in Galilee, for He was unwilling to walk in Judea because the Jews were seeking to kill Him.

Therefore the chief priests and the Pharisees convened a council, and were saying, “What are we doing? For this man is performing many

signs.

But when they had ordered them to leave the

Council, they began to confer with one another,

But when they heard this, they were cut to the quick and intended to kill them.

As for me, I shall call upon God,
And the Lord will save me.
