Luke 6:9

Jesus therefore said to them, I will ask you if it is lawful on the sabbath to do good, or to do evil? to save life, or to destroy it?

And Jesus answering spoke unto the doctors of the law and Pharisees, saying, Is it lawful to heal on the sabbath?

How much better then is a man than a sheep! So that it is lawful to do well on the sabbath.

And he says to them, Is it lawful on the sabbath to do good or to do evil, to save life or to kill? But they were silent.

And they went to another village.

Has not Moses given you the law, and no one of you practises the law? Why do ye seek to kill me?
