So that, my brethren, ye also have been made dead to the law by the body of the Christ, to be to another, who has been raised up from among the dead, in order that we might bear fruit to God.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, fidelity,

being complete as regards the fruit of righteousness, which is by Jesus Christ, to God's glory and praise.

Brethren, I do not count to have got possession myself; but one thing forgetting the things behind, and stretching out to the things before,

which are come to you, as they are in all the world, and are bearing fruit and growing, even as also among you, from the day ye heard them and knew indeed the grace of God, in truth:

But we desire earnestly that each one of you shew the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end;

For ye have need of endurance in order that, having done the will of God, ye may receive the promise.

But let endurance have its perfect work, that ye may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.

Have patience, therefore, brethren, till the coming of the Lord. Behold, the labourer awaits the precious fruit of the earth, having patience for it until it receive the early and the latter rain.
