Mark 1:30

Simon's mother-in-law was in bed, sick with a fever, and they immediately told him about her.

Have we not a right to take a Christian wife about with us, like the rest of the apostles and the Lord's brothers and Cephas?

and appealed to him, saying, "My little daughter is at the point of death. Come, lay your hands on her, so that she may get well and live!"

So the sisters sent this message to Jesus: "Master, your friend is sick."

If any one is sick, he should call in the elders of the church and have them pray over him, and pour oil on him in the name of the Lord,
