And when the ten heard that, they began to disdain at James and John.

Among the proud there is ever strife; but among those that do all things with advisement, there is wisdom.

And he came to Capernaum, and when he was come to house, he asked them, "What was it that ye disputed between you by the way?"

And there was a strife among them, which of them should be taken for the greatest.

Be kind one to another, with brotherly love. In giving honour go one before another.

that nothing be done through strife or vain glory, but that in meekness of mind every man esteem others better than himself,

Either do ye think that the scripture saith in vain, "The spirit that dwelleth in you, lusteth even contrary to envy,"
