For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.

just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many."

But not so among you; on the contrary, he who is greatest among you, let him be as the youngest, and he who leads as one who serves.

If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another's feet.

Have this attitude in yourselves which was also in Christ Jesus,

Although he was a Son, he learned obedience from what he suffered;

For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

Christ redeemed us from the curse of the Law, having become a curse for usfor it is written, "Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree"

He must manage his own household well, keeping his children under control with all dignity

who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, zealous for good deeds.

but with the precious blood of Christ, like that of a lamb without blemish or spot.

And he said to them, "The kings of the Gentiles exercise lordship over them; and those who exercise authority over them are called benefactors.
