and, the two, shall become, one flesh; so that, no longer, are they two, but, one flesh.

Or know ye not that, he that joineth himself unto the harlot, is, one body? For, saith he, the two, shall become, one flesh;

For this cause, will a man leave his father and his mother, and cleave unto his wife, and they shall become one flesh.

So, ought the husbands also to be loving their own wives, as their own bodies, - he that loveth his own wife, loveth himself,
