for in a severe test of affliction, their abundance of joy and their extreme poverty have overflowed in the wealth of their liberality.

I rejoice in the Lord greatly, that now at last you have revived your concern for me; indeed, you were concerned before, but you had no opportunity.

But if anyone has the world's goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does the love of God abide in him?
