And, as they were eating, Jesus, taking a loaf and blessing it, broke it, and giving to his disciples, said, "Take, eat, this is My body."

And, taking bread, and giving thanks, He broke, and gave to them, saying, "This is My body, which is given for you; this do in remembrance of Me."

The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not a partaking of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not a partaking of the body of Christ?

For I received from the Lord that which also I delivered to you: that the Lord Jesus, in the same night in which He was being betrayed, took bread;

the mystery of the seven stars which you saw in My right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of seven assemblies; and the seven candlesticks are seven assemblies."

And I saw, in the midst of the throne and of the four living creatures, and in the midst of the elders, a Lamb standing, as if slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God, sent forth into all the earth.

These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks, that stand before the Lord of the earth.

And the cup, in like manner, after supper, saying "this cup is the new covenant in My blood, which, in your behalf, is being poured out.

and all drank the same spiritual drink; for they were drinking of the spiritual Rock that followed them, and the Rock was the Christ.

(for the word Hagar is mount Sinai in Arabia), and corresponds to the present Jerusalem; for she is in bondage with her children.
