The Betrayal And Arrest Of Jesus

⁴⁸ But Jesus interposed, saying. "Are you come out to arrest me with swords and clubs, as if I were a robber? ⁴⁹  Day after day I was face to face with you in the Temple courts, teaching, and you did not seize me. But this is done that the Scriptures might be fulfilled." ⁵⁰ Then they all forsook him and fled.

Mark 12:35

While he was teaching in the Temple courts, Jesus in his turn asked. "How is it that the Scribes say that the Christ is the son of David?
